Our Architecture group in Baltimore, Maryland has an immediate career opportunity for an Architectural Designer with 3-5 years of full-time experience, fully engaged in a well-established architectural design firm, working on full-scale commercial and/ or residential projects. The ideal candidate brings passion to their work, a positive attitude, flexibility to work with a team on diverse projects simultaneously, willingly accepts new responsibilities, and exhibits a solid work ethic.

Responsibilities

Assist the Project Manager/Architect in developing drawings and presentation materials for all design phases
Conduct design, planning, and occupancy analyses, including design layouts
Create as-built drawings, rendered drawings / presentations (hand/CADD), and perform code and materials research.

Compile and analyze data for project specifications, reports, estimates, and calculations.
Ensure plans adhere to company CADD standards and regulatory codes.
Assist with construction phase services, including documentation, reports, and project closeout coordination.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture is required.
Architectural license a plus but not required.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. Experience with ArchiCAD preferred but not required.
Knowledge of products, materials and building systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Salary Range

$50,000 – $80,000 depending on years of experience and professional licensure
