Programme Highlights
The Student Internship Programme offers a structured experience lasting between six to 18 months. It provides hands-on work experience in a world-class manufacturing environment, offering practical exposure to your chosen field of study or career interest. Upon completion, participants will have the chance to apply for the Graduate Development Programme. Comprehensive coaching and mentoring support is also available throughout the internship.
Who Can Apply?
The programme is open to South African citizens, with preference given to graduates from the Eastern Cape region. Mercedes-Benz encourages applications from people living with disabilities. Applicants should be recently qualified graduates holding a full NQF level 6 qualification or higher. Fields of study considered include Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, Metallurgy, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Software Development, Accounting, Financial Management, Auditing, Economics, Supply Chain, Logistics, Analytical Chemistry, Human Resources, and Industrial Psychology.
Selection Criteria
Applicants must have completed Grade 12 with good results and hold a relevant tertiary qualification with an average pass mark of 65% or higher. Candidates must also be willing to work in East London, Eastern Cape.
