The Remote Ai Technical Expert is a job offer for an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead projects within a Generative AI Center of Excellence (COE). This role will be key in managing the full lifecycle of Generative AI initiatives, from intake and assessment to delivery. Key Responsibilities for the Remote Ai Technical Expert
Generative AI Use Case Intake and Solution Delivery: Manage the end-to-end intake, assessment, and implementation of Generative AI use cases, using standardized templates and frameworks to ensure consistency and clarity. Oversee project timelines, budget, and risk management strategies to drive on-time, high-quality solution delivery.

Lead RAG and Model Fine-Tuning Projects:Coordinate the implementation of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions and fine-tune pre-trained models such as GPT and BERT. Work closely with data scientists and engineers to design, test, and deploy AI solutions, leveraging natural language processing (NLP), large language models (LLMs), and APIs for optimal functionality.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Define and monitor project-specific KPIs (e.g., precision, recall, latency) alongside business metrics (e.g., ROI, customer satisfaction) to assess project success and drive improvements. Develop and maintain feedback mechanisms to monitor AI model drift, bias, and performance, initiating model retraining as necessary to maintain accuracy and relevance.
Stakeholder Management and Communication: Serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment of AI project goals with broader business objectives. Offer consultative expertise on data architecture, AI models, and application development in partnership with engineering and technical teams to foster a cohesive project strategy.
Risk Mitigation: Identify and address common risks associated with AI projects, including data quality, model bias, and performance issues, utilizing Agile practices for proactive management. Maintain transparency with stakeholders through regular updates, dashboards, and clear communication channels.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in managing engineering or software development projects, ideally within an Agile framework.
Hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies, including NLP, LLMs, and machine learning models. Understanding of RAG architecture, API development, and familiarity with tools like LangChain, Hugging Face, or vector databases. Proven experience assessing ROI and business value within AI projects and the ability to align these with business objectives.
Strong foundation in risk management for AI, including handling model drift, bias reduction, and performance tracking. Technical proficiency in data pipelines, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), and software development workflows. Excellent communication skills, with a talent for presenting complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Leadership experience managing cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data scientists, software engineers, and consultants. Solid background in Agile project management and AI/ML technologies, fostering collaboration between technical and business teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
