BRAC USA seeks an experienced fundraising professional to lead donor engagement strategies, cultivate relationships with major donors, and expand funding pipelines. The role emphasizes securing five- and six-figure contributions, fostering connections with key stakeholder groups like diaspora communities, and advancing employee giving programs. Reporting to the Director of Individual Giving, the position involves organizing donor cultivation events, developing high-impact communication, and managing donor-centric initiatives.

The candidate will also mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive team culture, reflecting BRAC’s commitment to equity and global impact. Based remotely, with a preference for the Washington, D.C. area, the Sr. Manager will collaborate across departments to strengthen BRAC’s mission of poverty alleviation and sustainable development, with occasional domestic and international travel for donor meetings and events.

Key Responsibilities

Strategically manage a portfolio of major gift donors, securing significant contributions while building connections with intermediaries, employee giving programs, and mission-aligned communities like diaspora groups. Strengthen the donor pipeline through targeted research, impactful communication, and collaboration with Corporate and Foundation Teams to expand employee giving opportunities and deepen donor relationships.

Event & Materials ManagementbbPlan and coordinate donor engagement activities, including cultivation trips, dinners, and events, to strengthen relationships and showcase BRAC’s mission. Develop compelling donor materials—case statements, reports, and proposals—while managing travel and event logistics to ensure alignment with strategic objectives. Leadership & Strategic Contributions

Experience & Education team culture by mentoring junior staff and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Represent BRAC USA in donor meetings and events, both domestically and internationally, demonstrating cultural competence and strategic leadership in advancing the organization’s goals.Required

Skills & Qualifications

Candidates must demonstrate a strong track record in securing major gifts and cultivating donor relationships, paired with excellent writing, editing, and project management skills. They should excel in public speaking, possess high emotional intelligence for cross-cultural engagement, and be adept at strategic thinking, managing priorities, and attention to detail.

Experience & Education A bachelor’s degree is required, with a master’s degree preferred.
