Qualification Requirements

At the GS-09 level, candidates must have one year of experience equivalent to GS-07, focusing on project tracking, shipping data analysis, and communication of regulations. Alternatively, candidates may qualify with two years of graduate education leading to a master’s degree.

At the GS-11 level, candidates must have one year of experience equivalent to GS-09, involving cargo shipping data analysis, collaboration with organizations, and regulatory compliance guidance. Alternatively, three years of graduate education leading to a Ph.D. may qualify.

At the GS-12 level, candidates must have one year of advanced experience equivalent to GS-11. Education cannot substitute for experience at this level.

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $68,405 to $128,956 per year, with a pay scale and grade of GS 09 to 12. The appointment type is permanent and full-time. The position is eligible for telework as determined by agency policy and may require up to 25% travel.
