The Warehouse Supervisor Job demands that Supervisor reports directly to the Warehouse Lead Supervisor or the Manager. The Warehouse Manager Job requests the supervisor to lead their team and ensure the products are properly received, stored, and shipped. The supervisor works as a coach and mentor to their team. To succeed in this position, the supervisor must be capable of planning the workload, motivating their team, and offering great customer service.

The role demands that the supervisor supervises a team of warehouse employees, while respecting budgetary constraints; maintain a safe work environment to enforce health and safety policies and regulations in the workplace; coach, lead and mentor all warehouse employees; oversee the storage of, and the shipping and receiving of goods; work with the supervisory and management team to develop a work environment that promotes good working relationships and ongoing communication with unionized employees; develop and apply control methods to maintain a high level of labour efficiency and takes part in any other related projects or tasks as may be required by the employer.

To be qualified for this offer, you are to hold a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent with experience and/or education in a related field and 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a unionized storage or distribution environment. Applicants must be able to lead and manage a team of employees with excellent communication, organization and time management skills with the ability to make sound recommendations based on systematic evaluations in order to provide guidance, motivation, and training for development of the team and delivering desired results.
